Info[]

Phenomenal rock band who began as a psychedelic rock band but evolved into providing a "space rock" sound, initially providing a creepy sound but later adopting a spacey sound. They were one of the first bands to create an album specifically designed to have each song segue into the next, as if the album were entirely one track. This had previously been done by The Beatles for their album Abbey Road. The band's album The Wall was also made into a film. They went through three frontmen from the sixties to the eighties. Their name came from blues musicians Pink Anderson and Floyd Council. Their song Time can be considered an influence on later thrash metal bands. Their song Shine On You Crazy Diamond is divided into several parts due to its length, although the parts are put into groups.
